Ironburgh Organization

The Ironburgh Organization, based in Manhattan, was founded in 1988 with a mission to recycle, rehabilitate and recreate urban properties. The company earned a reputation as a responsible and efficient real estate development firm and has evolved rapidly into a full service business which owns, manages, develops and leases residential and commercial properties throughout New York State.

The expertise of the Ironburgh Organization as a development and management company is reflected in the diversity of its real estate holdings. Currently the firm owns and operates nearly 5,000 units of housing throughout seven counties in New York State, and has plans for over a thousand more.

Early on, Ironburgh recognized the importance and necessity of environmental stewardship within the Real Estate Industry. Through the company’s current initiatives, it has emerged as a leader in green development, pushing the sustainable envelope and setting new standards for green living.

The company set the precedent for luxury green condominiums worldwide by developing NYC’s Greenest condominium building, Riverhouse, One Rockefeller Park which is striving for LEED Platinum status. Furthermore, Ironburgh’s latest green construction, development and management initiatives will bring all aspects of the firm’s holdings to a LEED certification. With these endeavors Ironburgh has expressed their commitment to both affordable housing, luxury development, and showing others that sustainable building practices are viable in a competitive business environment.
